About us
Uniting Scholarship. Empowering Communities. Inspiring Change.
International Ulama Foundation is a global network of Islamic scholars (Ulama) who have come together with a unified vision — to address the pressing modern challenges of today’s society through the timeless wisdom of Islam. We are a collective of dedicated religious scholars, educators, and community leaders from across the globe, working collaboratively to revive, enrich, and modernize Islamic outreach, education, and community engagement.
Our Mission
Our mission is to bridge the gap between traditional Islamic knowledge and contemporary societal needs, offering practical, meaningful, and spiritually rooted solutions to modern-day issues. Through innovative educational models, community development programs, and environmental awareness campaigns, we strive to serve Muslims across all regions—especially those living in non-Muslim majority societies.
Our Vision
To create a global platform of Islamic scholars that not only preserves traditional knowledge but also actively participates in shaping a just, ethical, and sustainable world. We envision communities where religious learning is connected with social relevance, empowering Muslims to lead spiritually fulfilling and socially responsible lives.
What We Do
1. Promoting Islamic Education with Modern Approaches
We believe in preserving and expanding access to authentic Islamic education. By integrating modern teaching tools and context-sensitive content, we support religious organizations such as madrasas and mosques with both financial and strategic assistance. Our support includes:
- Quranic learning programs (Hifz & Nazra)
- Advanced Islamic studies (Hadith, Fiqh, Arabic)
- Accommodation, meals, and learning resources for needy students
2. Online Courses for the Global Ummah
Our tailored online learning platforms serve Muslim communities worldwide, especially in the West, offering part-time and accessible courses in:
- Qur’an Translation (English/Urdu/Arabic)
- Arabic Language
- Character Building (Akhlaq e Hasana)
- Faith in Practice: Navigating Life as a Muslim in the West
These programs are designed for both adults and children, with a focus on fostering faith, identity, and community involvement.
3. Vocational & Skill-Based Training for Youth
Understanding the importance of financial independence and self-reliance, we conduct youth training programs that empower individuals with employable and entrepreneurial skills. These include:
IT and Freelancing
Graphic and Web Design
Handicrafts and Sewing (for both genders)
4. Climate Change Awareness: A Faith-Based Initiative
One of the most unique and crucial missions of the International Ulama Foundation is our commitment to environmental awareness and climate responsibility through Islamic teachings.
We believe that Islam holds profound guidance on environmental stewardship. Through our training programs and publications, we educate Ulama on:
- Prophetic guidance on consumption, conservation, and sustainability
- Our collective duty to protect Allah’s creation
- Character Building (Akhlaq e Hasana)
- Faith in Practice: Navigating Life as a Muslim in the West
Once trained, these Ulama become agents of change, delivering sermons, lectures, and community engagements that raise awareness about climate change and promote responsible behavior grounded in Islamic values.
